U12 Volleyball Clinics

Dig Missoula has a mission to provide a positive environment for the Missoula youth to learn and develop volleyball skills at all ability levels. We strive to develop a strong character, self confidence and life skills. Dig Missoula’s long term goal is to continue to provide affordable opportunities to local youth throughout Missoula. Our plan is to offer 3-5 youth clinics throughout the year at different locations to optimize the exposure of youth volleyball.

First Youth Volleyball Clinic

In February 2020, Dig Missoula held their first, of many to come, youth volleyball clinics. Former Hellgate High School and current Club Volleyball coach, Libby Schneider, took the lead in developing weekly practice progression plans linking basic skills and cues to game situations. Dig Missoula was honored to have so many coaches and players volunteer to help develop these young athletes.  “I truly just enjoyed the enthusiasm of the kids, they were eager to participate, learn and very supportive of each other,” said Ron Veilleux, Dig Missoula volunteer. Dig Missoula looks forward to future youth clinics and the continued development of community through volleyball.

The U12 Winter Volleyball session was a resounding success! The six week, free session, was a sellout, and the kids had a fun filled 90 minutes of volleyball fundamentals each week. Not only were the kids having a great time, but the quality of the coaches was amazing. The positive energy, fun attitude, and professionalism they gave to the sessions was very rewarding and the kids responded in a positive way.
